Winners of the Factoría Cultural Artistic Residencies in collaboration with the Bienal Climática
Here you can now consult the winning projects of the artistic residency call at Factoría Cultural de Avilés, in collaboration with the Bienal Climática.
From all the projects selected by the evaluation committee, composed of Yolanda Alonso Fernández, President of the Municipal Foundation for Culture; Ana Isabel Barrio Vega, Head of Training and Cultural Programs at the Municipal Foundation for Culture of Avilés; Víctor Tirador García, Head of Museum and Exhibition Projects at the Avilés City Council; Aníbal Juan Siñeriz Álvarez, Cultural Coordinator of the Avilés City Council, who provided a numerical assessment, and Amanda Masha Caminals, Artistic Director of the Bienal Climática, who contributed a qualitative evaluation, the Bienal Climática curatorial team has decided that the following works will be included in the programme of the first edition in Avilés:
Category A – Artistic Creation (Asturias)
- Alba Matilla Iglesias – Güercu
- Noemí Iglesias Barrios – Echo Bloom
Category B – National Artistic Creation
- Inés Cámara – Rama que no muere
To support this, the selected projects will receive extraordinary financial funding based on their needs, as well as curatorial guidance from the Bienal Climática team.
